Get Connected

Get Connected is a game created in three weeks during my 4th year at ICAN. I took care of the Gameplay development part as well as the programming of the visual animations.

You play as an electrician who has to connect the main computer. He will have to make several electrical connections to reach his task and use the cables at his disposal in a particular order, restricted by their size and color. Different electrical devices present in the room can be powered with the player's actions, such as TVs which can sometimes guide him in his progress.

INTENTION

Our intention was to transcribe the movements of seizure and manipulation of objects. The connection of objects in a specific order, to arrive at a situation where the connected cables invade the room, wants to be in the end constraining the movement of the player, who himself had to make these connections to progress.

GAMEPLAY

The play area has several elements that must be linked together via objects. Certain elements of this space will react depending on the connections. The player must transmit energy to a specific location in the area. The player will have to be observant and manipulative to solve this cable puzzle.
